Partners & Affiliations — Verified Alor archipelago diving expedition NTT Network

Our Partners & Affiliations

Delivering exceptional expeditions in a remote location like the Alor archipelago requires a network of trusted, high-quality partners. Alor Diving Expeditions, as part of the Juara Holding Group, has cultivated deep relationships with leading organizations across the regulatory, conservation, and hospitality sectors. These affiliations ensure our operations meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and service. Our selection process is governed by the strict principles outlined in Our Methodology.

Regulatory & Industry Bodies

  • Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif): We are fully licensed under a SIUP PARIWISATA, ensuring our operations comply with all national tourism regulations and contribute to the national economy through our registered Tax ID (NPWP).
  • Association of The Indonesian Tours And Travel Agencies (ASITA): As active members of ASITA, we adhere to the association’s code of ethics and professional standards, promoting a positive and sustainable tourism industry in Indonesia.
  • Directorate General of Sea Transportation (Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut): Our vessels are registered and inspected in accordance with Indonesian maritime law, ensuring they meet all safety, manning, and equipment standards required for commercial passenger vessels in Indonesian waters.
  • National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas): We maintain a direct line of communication with the regional Basarnas office and follow their protocols for emergency response and coordination, ensuring the highest level of preparedness.

Conservation & Community Partners

  • The Nature Conservancy (TNC) Indonesia: We collaborate with TNC on marine conservation initiatives within the Coral Triangle, sharing sighting data of key species and supporting their efforts to strengthen the management of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in the Lesser Sunda Seascape.
  • WWF Indonesia: We align our sustainability practices with the guidelines promoted by WWF Indonesia, particularly concerning responsible marine tourism, cetacean interaction protocols, and the reduction of plastic waste.
  • Local Government of Alor (Pemerintah Kabupaten Alor): We work closely with the local government’s tourism office (Dinas Pariwisata) and environmental agency (Dinas Lingkungan Hidup) to ensure our expeditions support local development goals and adhere to regional environmental regulations.
  • Thresher Shark Indonesia: We contribute sighting data and financial support to this local conservation project dedicated to studying and protecting the unique thresher shark population that frequents Alor’s waters.

Aviation & Hospitality Partners

  • Garuda Indonesia & Citilink: As Indonesia’s premier airlines, we prioritize these carriers for their reliability and safety records for flights into major hubs like Kupang (KOE) and Denpasar (DPS), facilitating seamless connections for our international guests.
  • Wings Air (Lion Air Group): A key partner for the final leg of the journey, operating the essential ATR services to Mali Airport (ARD) in Kalabahi, the gateway to the Alor archipelago.
  • Selected Luxury Villa & Resort Partners: For guests seeking pre- or post-expedition extensions, we partner with a curated selection of properties in Bali and Flores that meet our standards for luxury, service, and sustainability, such as Nihi Sumba and Amanwana.
  • Local Boutique Accommodations: In Alor itself, we partner with the best available local accommodations for logistical purposes, such as La P’tite Kepa, known for its commitment to eco-tourism and stunning location.

Our network of partners is a vital part of the ecosystem that allows us to deliver world-class Alor diving expeditions. We are proud to work alongside these organizations to showcase and protect the natural and cultural heritage of Nusa Tenggara Timur.
