Currentline Alor is an independent dive-travel concierge operated by Bali Premium Trip. We arrange Alor and Pantar Strait diving through licensed local operators — we do not own the boats or resorts, and we are not a financial, legal, tax, or medical adviser. Diving carries genuine risk, prices shift, and marine encounters are never guaranteed.
This disclaimer sets out the terms under which alordivingexpeditions.com publishes information and arranges dive travel. Read it before you enquire or book. By using this website or contacting us, you accept what follows. This page was last reviewed in July 2026 and may change without notice.
Who operates Currentline Alor, and what do we actually do?
Currentline Alor is a trading identity operated by Bali Premium Trip, published within the Juara Holding Group network. Our role is that of a concierge and booking coordinator: we research the Alor–Pantar frontier, curate itineraries, and arrange dives, liveaboard berths, and land-based stays on your behalf through established, licensed Alor operators — for example Dive Alor Dive, Nautika Dive Alor, and Alami Alor.
We do not own dive boats, dive centres, or resorts. We do not employ the divemasters or captains who run your dives. When you book through us, the diving service itself is delivered by a third-party licensed operator under that operator’s own terms, safety standards, and certifications.
| What Currentline Alor is | What Currentline Alor is not |
|---|---|
| An independent dive-travel concierge | The owner or operator of any boat or resort |
| A booking coordinator working via licensed partners | A licensed financial, legal, tax, or medical adviser |
| A publisher of research about Alor diving | A dive-training agency or certifying body |
| Operated by Bali Premium Trip | Affiliated with any sibling diving website |
What does “arranged via licensed partners” mean for your booking?
It means the contract for your actual dive experience is between you and the licensed operator delivering it. We coordinate the arrangement, relay your requirements, and help you plan — but the operator sets the dive schedule, decides whether conditions are safe, and holds the permits and insurance to run marine activities inside Alor’s waters.
Alor’s seas are managed as a marine protected area. As of 2026, every diver, snorkeller, and marine visitor must attend a mandatory briefing by MPA officers, pay the marine park fee, and hold a valid permit before entering the water. Guides must carry special MPA certification on top of standard agency qualifications, and the number of divers per site is capped by carrying-capacity limits. These are the operator’s and the authority’s rules, not ours; we cannot waive, discount, or bypass any of them.
Why can’t we promise blue whales, hammerheads, or any encounter?
Because wildlife does not read itineraries. The Alor–Pantar corridor can deliver extraordinary sightings — schooling pelagics, mola mola (September is the strongest month for them), dolphins, pilot whales, and, in season, blue whales and scalloped hammerheads. Every one of these is possible, never predictable.
Any mention on this site of a species, a season, or a “best month” describes typical patterns, not a guarantee. You may complete a full trip and see none of the headline animals. No refund, credit, or compensation is owed for a marine encounter that does not happen, and we will never quote a fabricated “peak date” to imply otherwise.
What diving risks do you accept when you book?
Diving in Alor is for experienced divers. The Pantar Strait runs strong surface currents that demand a rapid descent, quick equalising, and regrouping near five metres. Typical dives run 15–25 metres; one documented hammerhead site reaches around 32 metres in very strong current and demands genuine fitness. These conditions carry an inherent risk of injury, decompression illness, or death that no concierge can remove.
You are responsible for diving within your certification and experience. Operators typically require a minimum of PADI Open Water, recommend 50–100 logged dives for comfort in these waters, run all dives within no-decompression limits, prohibit solo diving, and end dives at 60 minutes or 50 bar.
Critically, dive-accident insurance from DAN or an equivalent is mandatory. The nearest hyperbaric chamber is in Bali, and evacuation and chamber costs are not covered by standard travel or medical insurance. Arranging that cover is your responsibility before you travel.
- Medical fitness: You confirm you are fit to dive and will disclose relevant conditions to your operator.
- Certification honesty: You will not overstate your experience level or logged dives.
- Insurance: You carry valid dive-accident cover; we do not provide it.
- Following briefings: You accept the operator’s and MPA officers’ instructions in the water.
Are the prices on this website fixed?
No. There is no public, citable price table for Alor dive packages, liveaboards, or the marine park fee — only the fact that a fee and permit are required. Any figure shown on this site is Currentline / Bali Premium Trip’s own indicative commercial estimate, dated as of 2026 and subject to change without notice. Treat every price as a starting point for a quote, never as a sourced or locked rate. Final costs are confirmed by the operator at the time of booking, in writing.
Is Currentline Alor connected to other diving websites?
Currentline Alor focuses only on Alor and the Pantar Strait. We do not sell, cross-book, or represent Komodo, Raja Ampat, or any other destination, and we are not affiliated with sibling sites that cover them. Each site in the wider network is operated independently for its own region, and no booking made here carries over to another.
How do we handle your personal data?
When you enquire by WhatsApp or email, we process the details you send — name, contact, trip preferences — only to answer you and arrange your booking. We handle this in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022) and, for visitors in the EU and UK, with awareness of GDPR principles.
- Purpose limitation: We use your data to respond and coordinate your trip, nothing more.
- Access and correction: You may ask what we hold and request corrections.
- Deletion: You may ask us to erase your enquiry data once it is no longer needed.
- Sharing: We share only what the licensed operator needs to deliver your booking.
We do not sell your data. To exercise any right, contact us using the routes below.
What are the limits of our liability?
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Currentline Alor and Bali Premium Trip are not liable for injury, loss, delay, cancellation, weather, currents, equipment failure, or acts of third-party operators. Information here is provided in good faith and reviewed as of July 2026, but we make no warranty that it is complete or error-free.
