Currentline Alor Terms of Service
**Currentline Alor (alordivingexpeditions.com) is an independent dive-travel concierge operated by Bali Premium Trip and published by Juara Holding Group. We arrange diving in the Alor and Pantar Strait through licensed local operators — we do not own boats, resorts, or dive centres. These terms, current as of 2026, govern how you enquire, book, and travel.**
By sending an enquiry, paying a deposit, or accepting a written quote, you agree to the terms below. Read them before you book. If anything is unclear, message us before you pay — not after.
Who are you actually booking with?
You are booking a concierge arrangement service, not a boat operator. Currentline Alor is the trading name used by Bali Premium Trip for Alor and Pantar Strait dive travel. The website publisher is Juara Holding Group.
We act as an independent broker and coordinator. The diving, accommodation, boats, and in-water guiding are delivered by established, licensed Alor operators — for example Dive Alor Dive, Nautika Dive Alor, or Alami Alor — and by their crews and certified dive guides. We select and coordinate; they carry you and put you in the water. This distinction matters for liability, and it is stated plainly throughout these terms.
What does Currentline Alor arrange?
We arrange and coordinate the following on your behalf:
- Land-based and liveaboard dive itineraries in Alor and the Pantar Strait
- Introductions and bookings with vetted, licensed local dive operators
- Logistics such as airport pickup coordination, transfers, and scheduling
- Guidance on seasons, MPA permits, and trip suitability
We do not operate vessels, employ dive guides, own resorts, or issue diving certifications. We do not provide medical, legal, financial, or dive-safety advice. On-water decisions rest with the licensed operator and its guides.
How do bookings, deposits, and payments work?
A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us by email or WhatsApp and your deposit has cleared. An enquiry, a held date, or a quote is not a confirmed booking.
The figures below are Currentline / Bali Premium Trip’s own indicative commercial terms as of 2026 and are subject to change. The exact deposit, balance, and deadlines for your trip are set in your written quote and by the operator’s own conditions, which we pass to you in full before you pay.
| Stage | What happens | Typical timing (indicative, 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry | We check availability with the operator and send a written quote | No payment |
| Deposit | Secures your dates; booking becomes confirmed | Usually 30–50% at booking |
| Balance | Remaining amount due before you travel | Commonly 30–60 days before arrival |
| On arrival | MPA permit, marine park fee, and any local fees | Paid locally, per MPA rules |
Payment methods, currency (IDR or USD), and any transfer fees are stated in your quote. Marine park fees and permits are set by the Alor MPA authority, collected locally, and are outside our control.
What is the cancellation and refund framework?
Cancellation terms follow the operator’s policy for your specific trip, which we disclose in writing before you pay. Liveaboards and peak-season land trips in the April–November window usually carry stricter terms than low-season dates.
| When you cancel | Indicative outcome (2026, subject to operator policy) |
|---|---|
| Before the deposit deadline | Full refund of anything paid, minus bank/transfer fees |
| After deposit, outside the balance window | Deposit typically non-refundable |
| Inside the balance window or no-show | Little to no refund; the trip may be charged in full |
| Operator cancels (weather, safety, force majeure) | Reschedule or refund per operator terms |
Strong currents, plankton blooms, or unsettled seas during the roughly November–March rainy season can force site changes or cancellations for safety. That call belongs to the operator’s guides, not to us, and it is not grounds for a claim against Currentline Alor.
Why can prices change after you enquire?
Any price shown on this site or in early correspondence is indicative, dated as of 2026, and subject to change until locked in a written confirmation. We do not present prices as sourced facts.
Prices can move with fuel costs, exchange rates, operator rate changes, group size, and season. No public, citable price table exists for Alor dive packages, liveaboards, or the marine park fee — only the fact that a fee and permit are required. We quote our own commercial figures and confirm them in writing before you commit.
What are you responsible for as a diver?
Alor is a frontier destination for experienced divers, not a beginner training ground. The Pantar Strait has strong surface currents that demand rapid descents, quick equalising, and regrouping around 5 m. Typical dives run 15–25 m; one documented scalloped-hammerhead site reaches around 32 m in very strong current and demands real fitness.
You are responsible for:
- Certification. Minimum PADI Open Water for fun diving. Operators recommend 50–100 logged dives for comfort in Alor–Pantar conditions.
- Dive-accident insurance. DAN or equivalent cover is mandatory. The nearest hyperbaric chamber is in Bali; evacuation and chamber costs are not covered by standard travel or medical insurance.
- Honest disclosure. Your true experience level, health, and medical fitness to dive.
- Rules in the water. No solo diving. All dives are no-decompression. Bottom time is typically capped at 60 minutes or when you reach 50 bar.
Blue-whale and hammerhead encounters are possible, never guaranteed. We make no promises about sightings, conditions, or outcomes.
Which Alor MPA rules must you follow?
Alor’s waters are a marine protected area inside the Coral Triangle. Compliance is mandatory and enforced locally, not optional:
- Attend the mandatory briefing by MPA officers before any marine activity
- Pay the marine park fee and obtain your permit before diving or snorkelling
- Meet minimum experience levels, and dive only with guides holding MPA certification
- Respect per-site diver caps set by WWF-determined carrying capacity
- No fishing or spearfishing (reserved for local fishermen)
Protected species include coral reefs, turtles, marine mammals, thresher sharks, mangroves, seagrasses, and pelagic fish. Breaching MPA rules can end your dive day with no refund.
Who is liable if something goes wrong?
Because we are a concierge and not the carrier, our liability is limited to the arranging service we provide. To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, Currentline Alor, Bali Premium Trip, and Juara Holding Group are not liable for injury, loss, delay, or damage arising from the acts, omissions, equipment, or vessels of the independent operators, their crews, or third parties.
Diving carries inherent risk. Your contract for the actual diving, boats, and accommodation is with the licensed operator, and their liability terms and waivers apply. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
How do we handle your personal data?
We collect only what a booking needs — name, contact details, certification level, and dive history — to arrange your trip with the operator.
We process personal data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022, “UU PDP”). For visitors in the EU and UK, we handle enquiries with GDPR principles in mind: we use your data only for your booking, share it only with the operator delivering your trip, and keep it no longer than needed. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your data using the contacts below.
Which law governs these terms, and how do you reach us?
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. We may update them; the version on this page, dated as of 2026, applies to your booking.
